“All solar power systems require solar inverters to convert direct current (DC) generated by solar panels or other alternative energy sources into alternating current (AC) for industrial, commercial and residential applications,” explains Mick Baugh, electronics sales manager , BMG’s Electromechanical Division.

"BMG's Motoline P19000-S Solar series inverters for photovoltaic (PV) water pumps integrate the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm, which supports accurate tracking of PV output to ensure the best power output.

"Other high-performance features of these solar inverters include dry-running protection, water tank level control, and dual AC and DC power supply modes. In addition to the DC input from the photovoltaic system, the series also supports AC input connection, allowing AC input to be connected to the photovoltaic power supply. Supply power to the driver when restricted. The clear LED display indicates real-time conditions and system parameters, and the RS485 remote control system enhances the flexibility of the system."

The Motoline P19000 solar inverter has a built-in protection and diagnostic mechanism that can provide comprehensive electronic protection for the motor and pump system, minimizing maintenance requirements and extending the service life of the system.

BMG has invested heavily in its BMG World plant in Johannesburg to ensure that assembly, inventory and technical support are comparable to the original global standards.

The functional operations of BMG World include a 308,000 cubic meter product warehouse and distribution center for the company's entire product range of more than 300,000 products, as well as a manufacturing center and general engineering workshop.

There are also dedicated assembly and maintenance workshops for drives, conveyors, hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems, as well as motors, electronic equipment, gaskets, lubrication systems and filter systems.

This facility enables BMG to continue to provide a high level of operational efficiency and service delivery, consistent with the continued growth of the business.

A team of technicians with extensive experience in gears provides technical consulting and support services, tailored to meet the precise specifications of contractors, designers and end users.

Online journals and portals provide first-hand industry information about emerging trends, events and innovations in the African pump industry and related industries.
